Johnson Partners announces New Zealand leadership shift
Johnson Partners, a board advisory and executive search firm operating in Australia and New Zealand, has announced a change in its New Zealand Managing Partner role. Nicola Mirza has taken over the role from Simon Monks as of 1 April 2024. This transition is part of a planned succession process that Simon Monks and Jason Johnson, Founder & CEO of Johnson Partners, have been working towards for two years.
Simon Monks will remain a Partner of the firm and continue to focus on serving clients across Board and C-suite roles. Nicola Mirza is based in the Auckland office of Johnson Partners. Mirza will join the firm’s trans-Tasman leadership team, working closely with Jonathan Morse, Victoria Allen, Tiffany Cowdrey and Jason Johnson.
"Nicola, we couldn’t be prouder to have you as our incoming NZ Managing Partner. I am personally excited to work with you and the broader team on realising our vision of creating the leading board advisory and executive search firm in Australia & NZ." Jason Johnson, Founder & CEO of Johnson Partners, said in a statement.
Johnson also acknowledged the contribution of Simon Monks, "Please join me in congratulating Simon for his contribution and Nicola on her promotion."
The change in leadership at Johnson Partners comes as the firm seeks to position itself as a leading player in the board advisory and executive search sector in Australia and New Zealand.
