Cocogun bolsters team with trio of key hires
Independent creative agency Cocogun has announced three significant new hires as it approaches its fifth anniversary. The agency, known for its focus on creating work that matters, has brought on board a blend of talent to further strengthen its team.
Christine Watts, formerly of Wunderman and 303 MullenLowe, has joined Cocogun as Business Partner. Watts brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion for working with like-minded individuals. In her own words, she has found her 'unicorn' in Cocogun. "I’ve been dreaming of working at a company that is full of like-minded people who are looking to do good in the world... I found my unicorn, and I am so stoked to be joining the team," said Watts.
Chiquita King, a representative of Cocogun, expressed the agency's excitement at having Watts on board. "Christine is all class and is someone we are proud to represent our brand. She pays attention to the little things, has strategic nous and is the perfect combination of excellence and pragmatism," King stated.
Kirsty Reynolds, formerly APAC Marketing and Communications Lead at Macquarie and Jawun Indigenous Corporate Partnerships Alumni, has also joined the Cocogun team. Reynolds will be taking on a hybrid role as Business Director and Copywriter, a position that she is excited to embrace. "I’m so excited to be taking on the hybrid role that CK and Ant created for me. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, innovation, and purpose. I love being on both sides of the fence - working with clients directly - and being in the thick of ideation with the creative team," Reynolds shared.
The third new addition to the Cocogun team is Shev Tan, who has joined as a new Designer. Tan expressed her enthusiasm about joining a team that prioritises doing good work with a good heart. "It’s a joy to be a part of a team that prioritises doing good work with a good heart. I'm excited to see where this opportunity takes me," Tan said.
Ant Melder, a representative of Cocogun, welcomed the new hires, highlighting the diverse creative, corporate and client backgrounds they bring to the team. "We’re thrilled to welcome Christine, Kirst and Shev - their diverse creative, corporate and client backgrounds bring some brilliant new perspectives to the team. On the verge of our fifth birthday this is a really exciting time at Cocogun," Melder stated.
