Starcom Australia CEO Nick Keenan exits after four-year tenure
Nick Keenan, CEO of Starcom Australia, has left the Publicis Groupe agency after a tenure of more than four years. The reasons behind Keenan's departure have not been disclosed.
Publicis Groupe ANZ CEO, Michael Rebelo, issued a statement expressing gratitude for Keenan's contributions during his time with the company.
"After four and a half years, Nick Keenan has departed from his role as CEO of Starcom Australia. On behalf of the Groupe in ANZ, I would like to thank Nick for his contributions and wish him all the best for the future," Rebelo said.
The search for a new leader to helm Starcom is currently underway.
Keenan joined Starcom Australia as CEO in March 2020, in a return to agency side after an 11-year stint corporate side. Prior to his stint with the Publicis Groupe, Keenan served as CEO of Red Rooster for two years.
His extensive resume also includes roles such as commercial director for CrownBet, CEO of CrownLotto, and managing director of Maxus from early 2009 to February 2015. Keenan also spent more than four years with MediaCom (now Essence MediaCom).
