Ogilvy Network ANZ bolsters creative team with high-profile hires

Ogilvy Network ANZ has announced the appointment of Lisa Down and Leila Cranswick as Creative Directors in Sydney. The duo will work closely with Toby Talbot, Ogilvy ANZ's Chief Creative Officer, and the Sydney creative leadership team. This move follows a series of recent creative appointments across the Ogilvy network, signalling a continued investment in top-tier talent.

Down and Cranswick bring a wealth of experience to their new roles. They previously held positions as Associate Creative Directors and Innovation Leads at BMF, where they were instrumental in creating campaigns for clients such as ALDI, Tourism Tasmania, TAL, the Federal Government, and Insuranceline. Their work has been recognised with numerous awards, demonstrating their ability to deliver innovative and impactful campaigns.

Cranswick boasts nearly a decade of advertising experience, having worked on brands like ALDI, Tourism Tasmania, TAL, Budget Direct, and Harley Davidson. She also served as the joint Award School Tutor of the Year in 2020. Down, with over nine years of experience at BMF, has led ALDI retail copy and created integrated campaigns for various clients. She has also tutored Award School and presented at D&AD Shift Sydney.

"To say I’m excited that Lisa and Leila are joining Ogilvy would be something of an understatement. The strength and depth of their work at BMF really impresses. The Tourism Tasmania “Off Season”. Divine. “One Talk at a Time” for New South Wales Government. Deftly handled. I can’t wait to see what they do for us as newly minted CDs," said Toby Talbot.

Bridget Jung, who recently joined Ogilvy, echoed Talbot's sentiments, stating, "Bringing a team of this calibre to Ogilvy is truly exciting and speaks volumes about our continued commitment to investing in the best creative talent. Beyond the work, they’re smart, nice and rock a great line in alliterated first names."
