Canva launches Enterprise subscription, debuts news features at upfront event

Canva has made a suite of new product announcements at its inaugural international 'Canva Create' event in Los Angeles, debuting a new enterprise subscription model designed to meet the rapidly growing demand and adoption by large organisations.

Canva's expansion includes the introduction of Canva Work Kits, workplace tools, resources, and templates customised for the needs of Marketing, HR, Sales, and Creative teams. Canva Courses, a new offering, transforms existing designs like presentations, documents, and videos into sequenced interactive courses, designed to supercharge workplace learning.

The company continues to accelerate its AI strategy with new capabilities including Text to Graphic, Magic Design, Resize & Magic Switch, and Styles & Layouts. Updates to Canva’s Visual Suite include Suggested Editing, Apps from Amazon, Google and Meta, Data Autofill, Supercharged Photo Editing, and upgrades to Video.

Following Canva's acquisition of design platform Affinity, it has announced the launch of Affinity v2.5, a new update to the product with advanced editing options.

"We are excited to introduce a revamped Canva experience and a suite of new products to empower every organisation to design," said Melanie Perkins, co-founder and CEO of Canva. "As demand for visual content soars, navigating organisational complexity is more challenging than ever. We democratised the design ecosystem in our first decade and now look forward to unifying the fragmented ecosystems of design, AI, and workflow tools for every organisation in our second decade."

Canva's community now exceeds more than 180 million monthly active users and is generating annualised revenues of more than US$2.3 billion. In just over 18 months since the introduction of Canva’s Visual Suite, more than 95 million new users have joined the platform.

"Canva has become a far-reaching tool across FedEx. With Canva's simple interface and vast selection of templates and graphics, our teams are able to quickly and easily create eye-catching visuals that help elevate the quality and effectiveness of our visual communications," said FedEx Creative Designer and Environmental Branding Strategist, Rebecca Janes.
