LiSTNR's 'Gripped: you don’t know me' nominated for AWGIE award
LiSTNR's original audio drama podcast, 'Gripped: You Don’t Know Me', has been nominated for an Australian Writers Guild (AWGIE) award in the Audio Fiction category.
The series writer is Jacklyn Bassanelli, who is up against other nominees including Megan May and Lauren Anderson’s 'Starship Q Star' and 'The Missed' by Sami Shah. The 56th annual AWGIE Awards, recognising the achievements of Australian performance writers and their contribution to the country's cultural landscape, will be presented in Sydney on February 15.
'Gripped: You Don’t Know Me' is a six-part series about the mysterious disappearance of a character, Lizzie Burdett. The podcast is adapted from a novel by award-winning Australian crime writer Sara Foster. Set in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, each episode focuses on a different potential suspect.
