Hit Network launches new platform for artists with Sean 'Seany B' Brown and Emma 'G' Georgiadis
The Hit Network has unveiled its new late-night show, 'The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G', hosted by Sean Brown and Emma Georgiadis. The show, which will air from 10 pm, aims to provide a platform for artists to showcase their music, stories, and talent. It will feature music, artist interviews, live performances, and pop culture content.
Sean Brown, also known as 'Seany B', has a deep passion for the industry and music. He has previously been heard on Hobart’s Hit 100.9 and Newcastle’s Hot 106.9, and on national Nights on the Hit Network during winter and summer breaks. Brown auditioned for the 2017 season of The Voice and performed live on stage with Delta Goodrem at her Newcastle concert in 2022. He has interviewed some of music’s biggest names including Rob Thomas, Craig David, Jojo, Julia Michaels, Amy Shark, and more.
"Pinch me? The Hit Network have put this kid from Tassie on a national radio show to play the hottest hits and talk about the most interesting celeb news, I must be bloody dreaming! As two fellow radio nerds - and Hot 30 fans - Em and I can’t wait to show Australia what we have planned!" said Sean Brown.
Emma Georgiadis, known as 'Emma G', has worked in the entertainment and media industry for more than 15 years. She recently joined Sydney’s 104.1 2Day FM morning line up. Emma has a teaching background and has been a radio announcer on Triple M, the Hit Network, and Nova. “After nine years on-air, I’m so excited to step into a co-host role and bring Late Nights to life with Sean. We can’t wait to spread the zest across Australia!” said Emma Georgiadis.
The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G will air weeknights from 10 pm-1 am across the Hit Network and on LiSTNR. The Hit Network is Australia’s largest radio network, broadcasting across metro and regional markets with 50 FM and DAB+ stations. It targets people aged 30 – 54 and features a 'feel great' pop music format. The Hit Network entertains more than 4.8 million Australian radio listeners across various stations and all its content is also available live or on demand on the LiSTNR app.
“We know our listeners and Australia love their music and all things celebrity so, we have delivered with something really special for Late Nights! We’re so thrilled to welcome our new talent in Sean and Emma to what will be an exciting national show.” said Amanda Lee, Head of Hit Metro Content and 101.9 The Fox Content Director.
