TBWA\Media Arts Lab appoints Stuart Alexander as group creative director for Australia

TBWA\Media Arts Lab, the global creative agency best known for its work with Apple, has announced the appointment of Stuart Alexander as the new Group Creative Director for Australia. This newly created role will see Alexander reporting directly to Brent Anderson, Chief Creative Officer at TBWA\Media Arts Lab, and working closely with General Manager, Jake Donaghey.

Alexander brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held leadership positions at some of Australia's most respected agencies, including The Monkeys, Leo Burnett, and BMF. His career is marked by a series of standout achievements, such as the transformation of immigration laws in Palau through the Palau Pledge campaign, the invention of a car powered by human attention for the RAC, and making payphone usage permanently free in Australia for Telstra.

Brent Anderson, Chief Creative Officer at TBWA\Media Arts Lab, expressed his excitement about the appointment, stating, “Stuart comes with a proven track record for creating work that has moved people, rippled culture, and instigated behavioural change. I am thrilled to welcome him to Media Arts Lab and for him to drive forward our work in Australia. His talent and energy will help us continue to create impact for Apple.”

Echoing this sentiment, Alexander said, "Media Arts Lab has a long and storied history of impeccably crafted work that impacts culture — a goal I have long strived to accomplish through my creative work. To say that I'm excited is an understatement and I can't wait to share some exciting work already in development.”

TBWA\Media Arts Lab is Apple's global creative agency, with seven regional hubs and over 800 people worldwide. The agency is part of the Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC), a leading global marketing and corporate communications company.
