Uber One and Hoyts have struck up a strategic partnership to offer exclusive benefits to their members in Australia including movie ticket discounts and unlimited free popcorn refills.

The collaboration aims to add value to the membership experience by providing unique perks and experiences, a move that further diversifies the offerings of both companies. Uber One members will now enjoy unlimited free popcorn refills at Hoyts cinemas, discounted General Admission and Hoyts LUX tickets, and access to exclusive $1 offers at Hoyts at special times throughout the year. The partnership will also feature unique cinema activations around special releases, giving Uber One members the chance to win access to exclusive dedicated Uber One screenings on the movie’s night of release.

Uber ANZ's Head of Membership, Scott Nicholls, said, “As well as savings on Uber and Uber Eats our membership is continuing to develop by adding value for Australians at other touch points in their life.”

Hoyts Rewards members will also benefit from the partnership, receiving a free trial of Uber One membership. On average, Uber One members save $23 per month in Australia, not including the membership fee.

Eligible Uber One members within Australia and New Zealand can purchase discounted Hoyts tickets subject to standard seats in eligible sessions at Hoyts cinemas in Australia and New Zealand, including Hoyts LUX. To claim the offer, Uber One members must log in to the Uber Eats app, validate their Uber One membership, and follow the link to the Uber and Hoyts offer ticketing landing page to purchase their tickets online.

Eligible customers are entitled to receive free popcorn refills on the same day as a popcorn is purchased either as part of a combo or as a standalone item and when a valid Uber One membership status has been presented on their Uber Eats app as part of the original purchase and the same membership status is presented as part of the free refill.
