Prime Video scores exclusive broadcast rights for Major League Cricket in Australia and NZ
Prime Video and Cognizant Major League Cricket (MLC) have announced a partnership that grants Prime Video exclusive broadcast rights for the 2024 MLC season in Australia and New Zealand. All 25 matches will be available on Prime Video in both countries from 6 July to 29 July local time (5 July to 28 July in the USA) at no extra cost to Prime or Prime Video membership holders.
The second season of MLC will feature international T20 superstars competing alongside the USA’s top domestic players from six major cities: Dallas, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. Eight Australian players and five New Zealand players have been confirmed to participate in the tournament. Key signings include Australian Test and ODI captain Pat Cummins, Kiwi batsman Michael Bracewell, and Australian batters Steve Smith, Travis Head, and Glenn Maxwell.
Prime Video is a premier entertainment destination where millions of viewers around the world can enjoy their favourite content. Since 2019, Prime Video has commissioned 29 Amazon Originals in Australia. Prime members in Australia and Prime Video customers in New Zealand will be able to watch all live MLC matches anywhere and anytime on their Prime Video app for smart TVs, mobile devices, Fire TV, Fire TV stick, Fire tablets, Apple TV, and online. New Prime Video customers in New Zealand can subscribe to a free seven-day trial.
