SAP Emarsys appoints Silvana Tagand as new regional VP of revenue for APJ
SAP Emarsys, a customer engagement platform, has announced the appointment of Silvana Tagand as its new Regional Vice President of Revenue for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Tagand will be taking over from Kristyn Wallace and will be leading the Sales, Customer Success, and Partnership teams across the region.
Tagand brings with her an extensive background in sales across media and technology, with 18 years of experience. Her previous roles include National Sales Leader at Southern Cross Austereo and RVP at Salesforce ANZ. Currently, she is pursuing her MBA at AGSM and holds qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
'It is an incredible honour to be a part of this passionate team and contribute to the growth and success of some of the leading brands in the region,' said Tagand. 'In today's dynamic landscape, marketers are required to navigate a myriad of changes, including shifts in the regulatory environment and the rapid pace of technological innovation. SAP Emarsys consistently delivers relevant solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers, positioning us at the forefront of the ever-evolving MarTech landscape.'
The company says Tagand's appointment comes with a clear vision for the future with plans to empower more marketers through the innovation of SAP Emarsys’ products such as Mobile Wallet, and channels such as access to its newest partnership with TikTok and LinkedIn.
According to Thomas Harris, Chief Revenue Office, SAP Emarsys, "With an impressive customer-centric background in go-to-market roles, she has garnered a wealth of experience working with globally renowned brands. Witnessing the remarkable growth of our APJ region has been truly inspiring and under Silvana’s leadership, we will elevate the region to even greater heights."
