MBCS bolsters creative team with "dynamic duo" of appointment
Integrated creative agency MBCS has announced the expansion of its creative team with the appointment of Abby Clark as Copy Writer and Laura Murphy as Art Director. The duo, who have previously worked together and separately, claim their best work is produced when they collaborate. Their appointment at MBCS is effective immediately, and both will be based in Sydney.
Clark and Murphy have previously worked at CX Lavendar for two years, contributing to the creative strategy for clients such as Headspace Australia, Westpac, and nbn. Their talent was first noticed by Luke Simkins, Group Creative Director at MBCS, while judging Award School.
"Appointing Abby and Laura bolsters our integrated offering across creative and experience where our team has grown exponentially since MBCS relaunched in 2022. I first came across this talented young duo from judging Award School. Abby and Laura performed very well and definitely stood out. I have witnessed first-hand how their creative ideas cut through and make an impact. I knew early on that I wanted their smarts as part of MBCS' creative offering," said Simkins.
Per Simkins: "They are a talented duo and genuinely great people who are passionate about their craft and clients in equal measures. They are charged with bringing their own unique brand of creativity to the team and will share their expertise across all our clients and pillars. I can't wait for MBCS' clients to benefit from their nGEN perspective and bold ideas."
Both Clark and Murphy said they are excited about their new roles, "We've worked together as a team and in separate businesses, but we agree our best work is definitely when we are working together. Joining MBCS and working with Liv, Luke and the rest of talented team we honestly feel right at home already and we love that as an agency they put people first. It's a great culture, the clients are diverse and we can't wait to get started."
