In a strategic move to bolster its expansion into new markets, full-service agency Apparent has appointed industry veteran Jason Hill to the newly created role of Chief Strategy Officer. Hill brings with him nearly three decades of experience working across clients, consultancies, and agencies in the UK, Australia, and Asia.

Hill's career includes a stint as the Chief Strategy Officer at Ogilvy Singapore, where he served for over eight years. His portfolio boasts of launching the UK’s first internet bank, Egg, repositioning M&S Money, leading strategy for American Express and IBM in Australia and New Zealand, CRM planning for Vodafone, and B2B strategy for Optus.

Apparent, which employs over 150 people across multiple global locations, is known for its diverse client roster that includes Google, Cricket Australia, Active Super, DataRobot, Austrade, LGT Crestone, IBM, and VMWare. The agency is hoping to leverage Hill's broad global agency and brand experience to further its growth.
