Westfield, Disney extend partnership into second year
Westfield has entered a second year of collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, extending their partnership into 2024.
The collaboration aims to bring Disney's renowned storytelling to Scentre Group's Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand. This follows a successful year of activations in 2023, which celebrated Disney's 100th anniversary.
The 2024 program is positioned to 'Spark Joy in the Everyday at Westfield', with activations that will celebrate three Disney universes: Star Wars ('Spark Excitement'), Marvel ('Spark Adventure'), and Disney Princess ('Spark Magic'). The program will include Westfield-exclusive immersive experiences, competitions, Disney retail available via Westfield retail partners, activations, and events.
The first series of events will be themed around Star Wars 'Spark Excitement'.
"Our focus is to create more reasons for our customers to come and spend their time in our Westfield destinations. We’re excited to be extending our collaboration with Disney to deliver even more unique events and activations that celebrate Disney’s famous storytelling and innovation. Our customers have told us they value and enjoy these experiences, and we’re looking forward to sharing more memorable moments with them over the coming months," said Scentre Group Group Director Customer, Community and Destinations, Lillian Fadel.
"We are so thrilled to continue our partnership with Westfield, sparking excitement, adventure and bringing the Disney magic to their customers and our fans throughout 2024," said The Walt Disney Company Australia & New Zealand Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Products, Tim Everett.
