Live entertainment, ticketing and technology group, TEG, has promoted Cameron Hoy to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of Global Ticketing, effective immediately.

The fresh remit sees Hoy ascend from his previous role as Managing Director of Ticketek, a division of TEG. In his new role, Hoy will oversee several divisions within TEG, including Data Science, Analytics and Digital divisions, Product and Technology, and Global Ticketing operations.

TEG Group CEO, Geoff Jones, expressed his delight at Hoy's appointment, lauding his business acumen and track record of delivering innovation and growth.

"Cameron’s promotion recognises his significant contribution to our company and reflects TEG’s increasingly global footprint," Jones said.

Hoy, for his part, expressed pride in leading teams of exceptional people and excitement at the opportunities for expansion and growth across TEG's business.
