Accent Group taps Amperity for first-party customer data strategy

Apparel retailer, Accent Group, is bringing on Amperity's AI-powered enterprise customer data platform (CDP) to provide the foundation for its first-party customer data strategy.

The A/NZ retailer operates over 800 stores and more than 34 brands, including The Athletes Foot, Platypus Shoes, Hype DC, Skechers, Hoka & Dr Martens. The new collaboration with Amperity aims to consolidate, manage and activate Accent Group's customer data from a variety of online and offline touchpoints, with the goal to deliver personalisation at scale.

"We strive to provide exceptional customer experiences across all of our brands, which requires a CDP that delivers on the promise of unifying all online and offline customer data and making it actionable," Accent Group Group General Manager Digital and Marketing, Deena Colman, said. "With Amperity, we can unify and activate all of our customer data with the goal of creating a seamless, personalised omnichannel journey for our customers."

Accent Group plans to utilise Amperity’s patented, AI-powered technology for enterprise-scale identity resolution to build unified customer profiles for audience segmentation, as well as insights for retargeting, lookalike and suppression campaigns.

Amperity Area Vice President,Billy Loizou, said the vendor was honoured to be chosen by Accent Group to help scale personalisation efforts and optimise marketing spend.

"Accent Group is solely focused on putting its customers at the centre of the experience—that starts with a clean and accurate data foundation," he commented.
