Behavioural targeting out of control, warns UK watchdog

Just a reminder here of the loud warning the UK's data watchdog, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), gave industry in June. (TechCrunch

These are sage signals not to be ignored, given Australian industry is facing an ACCC inquiry into the adtech supply chain. Of course, the Federal government ultimately must decide on how it acts on the recommendations carried in the ACCC's Digital Platforms Inquiry final report.
