CyberCX to serve as cyber security net for Australian Open 2024 under new partnership
Tennis Australia has announced an extension of its partnership with CyberCX, a leading cyber security services organisation in Australia.
The collaboration will see CyberCX return as the Official Cyber Security Partner for the Australian Open 2024, one of the world's most prestigious tennis tournaments. CyberCX will be tasked with providing cyber security services to ensure the smooth delivery of the Australian Open, a tournament that draws a global audience and requires a robust digital infrastructure.
Cedric Cornelis, Chief Commercial Officer at Tennis Australia, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership renewal.
"We are delighted to partner with CyberCX again in 2024, recognising the company's ongoing commitment to support the Australian Open and the broader tennis community," he said.
John Paitaridis, CEO of CyberCX, echoed Cornelis' sentiments. ""The Australian Open is an iconic and important event for the local community and for an audience of millions more tuning in around the world," he stated. "As the inaugural cyber security partner of the Australian Open in 2023, we are proud to return and provide our leading cyber expertise to support a successful tournament in 2024."
The Australian Open 2024 is set to take place at Melbourne Park from 14-28 January 2024. The tournament will be supported by major partner Kia, in association with Emirates, Luzhou Laojiao and Rolex.
