DBC2 brings on new CEO appointment amid auto market transformation

DBC2, a leading agency in the automotive marketing sector, has announced the appointment of Jason Fisher to the newly created role of CEO.

This move comes in the wake of a period of significant client growth for the agency and is being positioned as further bolstering its strategic development.

Fisher, who has also become a shareholder of DBC2, joins the Board of Directors and will work closely with Founder and Managing Director Dale Brittain and Creative Director Anthony Crivelli. His responsibilities will encompass day-to-day agency operations and the development of the agency's business growth strategy.

The appointment of Fisher, who previously established Australia's premier database marketing company for OE dealerships, CRMA, in 2008, is effective immediately. He will maintain an active role in CRMA alongside his new responsibilities at DBC2.

In a statement, Dale Brittain said, "Australia's automotive market is undergoing rapid transformation bringing tremendous opportunities for DBC2 to make a significant impact. We need someone of Jason's calibre on the team to help us achieve the goals we have always strived to realise."

Echoing Brittain's sentiments, Fisher expressed his enthusiasm for the new role.

"Having spent my entire career in the auto industry I cannot be more thrilled to join DBC2 at such an exciting time for the sector. I look forward to working with Dale and his talented team to drive innovation, enhance client satisfaction and solidify DBC2's position as a leader in automotive marketing," he said.

DBC2 is also planning a brand refresh and an expanded proposition in early 2024, signalling a strategic shift to capitalise on the evolving automotive market. Fisher's appointment is effective immediately.
