Pattern launches recovery service to boost Australian brands' Amazon revenue
Global commerce accelerator, Pattern, has launched a new service, Pattern Recovery, aimed at helping Australian brands optimise their Amazon marketplace presence and recover revenue.
The service conducts a comprehensive review of Amazon transactions, identifies missed opportunities, and provides ongoing support to enhance profitability without disrupting sales.
Pattern Recovery has reportedly helped clients reclaim around $216,000 in lost revenue, with an average recovery of 6% from a five-year look-back period. The service supports brands operating as first-party (1P) or third-party (3P) vendors on Amazon. It identifies and recovers up to 70% of missed revenue opportunities and back-dates them as far as five years.
Merline McGregor, Managing Director at Pattern, said in today's ecommerce landscape, brands must optimise every aspect of their operations to drive profitability. She noted many Australian brands struggle to navigate the complexities of selling on Amazon, leading to errors and missed revenue opportunities.
"Most Australian brands currently struggle to navigate all the moving parts that come with selling on Amazon. This leads to errors resulting in repeated missed opportunities for revenue relating to overcharges, misapplied fees and inventory recovery," she said.
Pattern Recovery aims to address these issues by identifying and recovering missed revenue opportunities. "Working on behalf of Australian brands, Pattern Recovery can identify and recover up to 70% of these missed revenue opportunities and back-date them as far as five years. This ensures brands can gain back profits that would otherwise have been a loss and optimise processes to safeguard profitability into the future," McGregor added.
The service aligns with Amazon's best practices, offering strategic insights and operational advice to brands. McGregor emphasised the importance of optimising all areas of business operations to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
"In today's ecommerce environment, it is more crucial than ever for brands to optimise every aspect of their operations to drive profitability - they cannot afford unnecessary losses or inefficiencies. By ensuring that all areas of the business, including Amazon marketplace operations, are operating at peak efficiency, brands can not only safeguard their bottom line but also position themselves for sustainable growth. It's about being proactive, tightening the ship, and making every dollar count to build future strength."
Pattern Inc operates from 24 global locations, helping brands achieve accelerated growth on D2C websites and global ecommerce marketplaces.
