Sayers joins the fray,
ATN's strategic play,
Sydney's media day.
Ex-Nine business director Heidi Sayers joins Australian Traffic Network ahead of major relaunch
The Australian Traffic Network (ATN) has announced the appointment of Heidi Sayers, former Nine group business director, to the newly created role of NSW sales director. This strategic move comes ahead of ATN's major brand relaunch later this month.
Sayers boasts over 20 years of experience across leading media companies and will be driving agency and direct sales in the Sydney market under the leadership of national sales director, Karen Holmes.
Sayers has a proven track record in the media industry, having previously held the position of group business director at Nine for over four years. During her tenure, she was instrumental in developing high-performing teams and crafting innovative sales strategies. Prior to Nine, Sayers held senior commercial roles at News Corp Australia and APN Regional Media.
"Heidi’s experience in driving sales teams across multiple media formats makes her the perfect fit to head up ATN’s NSW team. Her deep understanding of the media and advertising landscape and ability to leverage content-driven strategies will be instrumental in supercharging our direct and agency sales efforts in this key market. As we approach our brand relaunch, Heidi will help us unlock new growth opportunities for our clients and I’m delighted to welcome her to the team," said Holmes.
ATN, part of the ASX-listed Global Traffic Network Group, is one of Australia’s largest broadcast media advertising platforms. Its traffic reports span more than 200 capital city and regional radio stations across major radio networks and the Seven and 10 TV networks.
"I’m excited to join ATN at such a dynamic time for the business. I have a deep understanding of formats that effectively capture real attention for brands, whilst engaging audiences at scale. I look forward to building on ATN’s strong foundation, extending our client partnerships and helping to drive the business forward," said Sayers.
