Seven Network's 'Bring Eden Home' campaign ignites fan engagement

Seven Network's 'Bring Eden Home' campaign for the popular TV show Home and Away has sparked a significant response from fans, with 65,695 phone calls made in six days.

The campaign, designed to engage fans during the show's hiatus and attract lapsed viewers, saw over 28,000 calls made in the first 24 hours alone.

The campaign utilised a mix of 'Help Find Eden' posters, social media pleas, and on-air promotions, leveraging both earned and owned media to maximise reach. Fans were urged to dial 1800 066 816 to listen to Eden's last phone call, adding a tangible, interactive element to the show's narrative.

In the first 24 hours, 28,244 fans heeded the call to action, dialling the emergency number. Additionally, a video to bring Eden home was viewed over 400,000 times across Seven's social channels, demonstrating the campaign's broad appeal and effectiveness.

"We’re thrilled with the engagement and impact this campaign has driven so far and excited to spearhead an immersive, out-of-the box creative campaign for Home and Away," said Larissa Ozard, Seven Director Marketing – Brand, Product and Trade.

"It’s in no small way thanks to some brilliant creative from Nina Kendall and execution by Marni Crutchley and team, who have been able to deliver a campaign to get the nation talking while sweating earned and owned channels."

Fans of Home and Away can look forward to the show's return for a new season starting 8 January on Channel 7 and 7plus.
