AMPR announces internal promotions and expansion plans

AMPR, the Australian PR agency, has announced a series of internal promotions and plans for further expansion. The move comes as the company experiences significant growth, particularly in its Sydney office, which has seen expansion in its Content and Talent teams.

Jannah Flockhart, a 16-year veteran of AMPR, has been promoted to the role of Managing Director. Flockhart's promotion is a testament to her passion and expertise, which have been vital to AMPR's success. "Jannah’s passion and expertise have been vital to AMPR’s success. This promotion is a testament to the trust I have in her ability to lead our next chapter. Her strategic acumen and dedication will continue to drive our innovation and growth," said Sarah Gale, who will transition to the role of Executive Director after 20 years with AMPR.

Jennifer Walsh, who served as Acting General Manager in FY23, will officially assume the role of General Manager. Walsh's outstanding performance over the past year has solidified her role and her hard work has helped AMPR maintain its industry-leading position. In addition to these promotions, Ashleigh Bonica and Emma Lomas have been promoted to Senior Communications Directors, while Cheyenne Myers has returned from maternity leave to resume her role as Senior Communications Director. New hires in Sydney include Bel Jones and Venus Lander as Senior Communications Managers, Daniella Kalach as Production Executive, and Caitlin Barbieri as Communications Manager in Melbourne.

Recent client additions to AMPR’s portfolio include Kathmandu, Platypus and Witchery, complementing long-standing clients such as David Jones, Swisse, Nissan, and Specsavers.
