Mediahub launches in New Zealand amid high-profile global wins
Mediahub, a prominent media agency within the IPG Mediabrands network, is extending its footprint to New Zealand, bolstered by its ongoing growth in Australia and recent global brand wins, including New Balance and Bosch.
The expansion will see the establishment of offices in Auckland and Christchurch, offering a comprehensive NZ capability. This move will leverage Mediahub and Mediabrands' proprietary tools, technology, and processes, coupled with local expertise in AI, data, content, performance, and digital.
Mediahub NZ will be staffed by approximately 25 media and digital experts from Attivo Group's full-service agencies, Farrimond in Auckland, and Harvey Cameron in Christchurch. Attivo is a Mediahub partner in ANZ.
The NZ operation will be overseen by Sue Squillace, CEO of Mediahub ANZ, and led by Cushla Baggott, current Managing Partner of Harvey Cameron Media. The team will also include Hugo Winter, General Manager Media (Auckland), Nicole Earnshaw, newly appointed General Manager, Media (Christchurch), and James Duggan, General Manager Digital.
Squillace expressed her enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, 'Expanding to NZ has always been an integral part of our ANZ growth strategy and what our clients are asking for. Not only will it resonate with our teams, but also our new global clients like New Balance and Bosch. Harvey Cameron and Farrimond's creative, digital and strategic teams will continue operating under their respective agency brands, working in tandem with Mediahub NZ's media teams to provide a full-service capability.
This expansion comes after Squillace's appointment as Mediahub ANZ's CEO in June this year and the announcement in November that the agency had been appointed by New Balance as its strategic media partner in NZ and Australia.
