Third Avenue Consulting elevates Julie Wright to managing director amid strong growth
Third Avenue Consulting, has appointed Julie Wright as its new Managing Director. The move follows a period of robust growth for the an independent Public Relations firm specialising in corporate and business-to-business PR, media relations, and reputation management, firm, which has seen double-digit revenue increases for three consecutive years.
Wright, who joined Third Avenue as a Senior Consultant in 2021, brings to the role two decades of experience in PR and strategic communications. Her career has spanned both Sydney and London, where she has worked on public relations campaigns for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and with Access PR in Sydney and 3 Monkeys in London.
Rochelle Burbury, the founder of Third Avenue Consulting, expressed her delight at Wright's promotion.
“Jules has grown to become my right hand person at Third Avenue. She’s the conch to my chaos, she brings process to my pedantry, and she has been a welcome and valuable addition to our clients," Burbury said. She added that Wright's appointment is a reflection of the growth in their business and her incredible contribution to their clients.
In addition to Wright's promotion, Leigh Fenech has been appointed as a Consultant at Third Avenue Consulting. Fenech brings over 15 years of experience in multiple industries, including commerce, digital content management, inventory control, and marketing. She has held key roles at Seafolly, Universal Music Australia, and HOYTS Group.
Third Avenue Consulting, established by former Australian Financial Review Media & Marketing Editor Rochelle Burbury, specialises in the media, marketing and advertising sector. The firm prides itself on its 100% female workforce, all of whom are working mothers.

Wright expressed her excitement about her new role. “I’m really excited to be stepping into the Managing Director role at Third Avenue. Rochelle and I have worked together on and off for more than 15 years now, and remained good friends in between," she said.

Both appointments are effective from 1 January 2025. As part of its growth strategy, Third Avenue Consulting is also launching a refreshed website.
