Social shop Quiip expands team to meet rise in online misinformation
Quiip, a specialist in social media and online community management, has announced three senior appointments and an expansion of its service offering, including ethical marketing expert Dr Alison Milful.
Milfull joins as Marketing and Business Development Director and brings over 20 years of experience in ethical marketing and digital engagement to the table. Her career has seen her work with organisations such as ACMI, BirdLife Australia, Zoos Victoria, and La Trobe University.
The expanded service offering has been developed in response to a significant increase in misinformation, disinformation, hate speech, spam, and bot activity. Quiip provides 24/7 social media and online community management, ensuring consistent community engagement, effective risk management, and peace of mind for its clients.
Quiip's additional hires Luke de Zilva and Kelly McParlane as Team Leads. de Zilva has extensive experience across the arts, creative, and cultural sectors working with organisations like the Sydney Opera House, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and Tranby Aboriginal Cooperative.
McParlane has over a decade of experience in social media and community management. She has worked on high-profile events such as the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the Commonwealth Games.
