TEG appoints industry veteran Phil King as managing director of Ticketek Australia
Ticketing, live content and data analytics player, TEG, has appointed Phil King as Managing Director of Ticketek Australia.
King, a seasoned industry executive with over two decades of experience, will be based in TEG's Sydney office, reporting to TEG's Chief Operating Officer & Head of Global Ticketing, Cameron Hoy.
King's most recent role was as Chief Commercial Officer at the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA). His career spans a range of senior executive positions at major venue organisations, including General Manager of The Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Director of Live Entertainment at the International Convention Centre, and Commercial Manager at Qudos Bank Arena.
In his new role, King will spearhead Ticketek's Client Services, Ticketing Solutions and Delivery teams. His appointment comes as TEG continues to expand its business and innovate within the live events industry.

Hoy also praised King's industry expertise. "I have known Phil for over 15 years. He is a highly respected industry executive who will bring a unique level of insight and understanding to Ticketek's service delivery. I look forward to working closely with him in his new role at TEG."
In response to his appointment, King said, he is delighted to join the TEG Group at a time where the organisation is growing at a rapid pace.
