CRA unveils Heard 2024 - a key audio event for media agencies and advertisers
Commercial Radio Australia (CRA) is set to launch a significant new audio event, HEARD 2024, on 15 February. The event, targeted at media agencies and their clients, aims to showcase the power of audio and will feature a host of iconic radio personalities and thought leaders.
Among the notable personalities slated to grace the event are Amanda Keller, Kate Ritchie, Carrie Bickmore, and Deb Knight. Brand and thought leaders such as Mark Ritson and Adam Ferrier will also be present. The event will be hosted by Tim Blackwell and Joel Creasey, with performances from Mitch Tambo.
"CRA and the commercial radio networks are proud to launch HEARD 2024, a major new audio event for media agencies and their clients," said Ford Ennals, CEO of CRA. He added that HEARD 2024 will be "information-packed while celebrating the importance and vitality of the fast-moving audio market."
The event, to be held at the Ivy Ballroom, includes a networking lunch for an expected audience of 500 leading executives from media agencies and client organisations.
Jo Dick, Chief Commercial Officer of CRA, emphasised the potential of audio in advertising campaigns. "HEARD 2024 is our chance to excite media agencies and the advertising industry with the latest information on how to use audio to maximise campaigns," she said.
Dick further highlighted the unique advantages of radio advertising. "With creativity at its core, radio advertising delivers cost-effective results and can impact consumer brand engagement like no other medium. When we add podcasting and radio streaming into the ad mix - the opportunities for advertisers are limitless."
CRA, the peak industry body representing the interests of commercial radio broadcasters throughout Australia, is known for promoting the effectiveness of radio and audio to advertisers. It manages audio research and insights, metropolitan and regional audience measurement surveys, revenue reporting, industry innovation, industry codes and standards, and regulatory and legislative matters.
In addition to HEARD 2024, CRA also hosts the Australian Commercial Radio Awards and the Siren Creative Awards, further cementing its commitment to the advancement of the audio industry in Australia.
