From Sitecore to HCL,
Quiroga takes the helm,
A new story to tell.
Former Sitecore ANZ boss Gus Quiroga joins HCL Software as regional director
Former Sitecore ANZ boss Gus Quiroga has stepped down from the role and taken up residence with HCL Software as its regional director.
He told Mi3 Fast News, “I was impressed with what they have done with their DXP (aka CMS +) offering since I was responsible for the platform at IBM.”
According to Quiroga, “HCL has a very strong software engineering heritage so they have been quietly improving the products.”
One of his goals, he said is to make sure customers better understand their story.
HCL Software was created by HCL Technologies, one of the Big Four Indian systems integrators along with Tata Consulting Services, Wipro, and Infosys. As we reported recently all four seem intent on evolving into software businesses.
Infosys recently released a marketing tech play, while HCL Software was recently identified by Forrester in its Real-Time Interaction Management Wave report as an emerging force in the decisioning world.
In addition to his Sitecore and IBM gigs, Quiroga has held roles at Microsoft’s Azure, and prior to his stint at Sitecore as Area VP, he was the GM APAC and VP of financial services for Mobiquity.
