Ecommerce Equation's flight,
In tech's bright spotlight.
Ecommerce Equation appoints Tigerlily's Travis Wright as first chief product officer
Ecommerce Equation, a tech-enabled education coaching platform focused on digital marketing strategies and business building, has named Travis Wright as its first Chief Product Officer.
The new role was created to help the business continue its rapid growth in a sector projected to reach $2.7 trillion globally by 2026.
Wright, previously CEO of Tigerlily for three years, has been recognised in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and ranked No. 7 in Inside Retail’s Australia’s Top 50 People in Ecommerce. She was also a founder of Travel by Travis and General Manager of Esther & Co, and was recognised in the 2020 Top 50 Small Business Leaders Report.
In her new role, Wright will oversee core functions essential to member success, including developing curriculum, managing coaching experts, and fostering a business community.
"I am thrilled to be joining Ecommerce Equation as their new Chief Product Officer. Jay and his team have built a phenomenal platform for retailers and are driving measurable impact for their members," said Wright. "I am excited to be able to represent the needs of retailers as they continue to scale this incredible proposition and to amplify the impact that I can have personally in the industry by supporting the success of our member base."
Ecommerce Equation, founded in 2020, supports commerce operators to inhouse digital marketing function within a community environment. The company has over 2,000 members and has experienced growth by leveraging tech platforms that allow founders to bypass digital marketing agencies.
Founder and CEO of Ecommerce Equation, Jay Wright, said: "Travis brings a unique blend of strategic vision, hands-on experience, and empathetic leadership to Ecommerce Equation. Her appointment as Chief Product Officer marks an exciting chapter for our company as we continue to expand and innovate. We are confident that Travis will play a pivotal role in enhancing our members' success and driving our growth."
In February, Ecommerce Equation entered a strategic partnership with Glow Capital Partners, a private equity fund investing in brands and businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
