Submissions are now open for the SXSW Sydney Pitch 2024, an event that forms part of the SXSW Sydney Conference in October.

Now in its second year, the event is presented by VentureCrowd and showcases the global startup ecosystem's innovations, startups, and individuals creating impactful companies, products, and solutions.

The theme for the SXSW Sydney Pitch 2024 is 'What’s Next', reflecting the coming wave of technologies and the aspiration to seek solutions to some of the most pressing issues facing our world today. The grand final winner will receive two Platinum Badges for SXSW Austin 2025, two economy return airfares to Austin, Texas, a special slot to present a speed pitch during the 2025 SXSW Pitch Awards Ceremony in Austin, Texas, and a tailored mentorship package. Additional prizes for finalists will be announced as the event date approaches.

Submissions are open until Monday 22 July, with an information webinar set to take place on Wednesday 12 June. Last year, Melbourne-based medical robotics startup NanoCube Health won the grand final. SXSW Sydney Pitch 2024 is presented by VentureCrowd. SXSW Sydney is an annual gathering of visionaries, thought leaders, and emerging talents from the Asia-Pacific region. SXSW Sydney 2024 will take place on 14-20 October, on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. SXSW Sydney is supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
