Avid Collective appoints Niki Jones as head of enablement and operations

Avid Collective, a leading Australian media organisation, has recruited former Junkee Media executive, Niki Jones, as its new Head of Enablement and Operations.

Jones will oversee operational activities across various business arms, with a particular focus on partner engagement. She will report directly to Commercial Director, Ezechiel Ritchie.

Jones brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having previously worked at Scout Publishing and Junkee Media. At Junkee, she played a pivotal role in restructuring the business and refining its commercial strategy. With nearly two decades of experience in national media organisations, including SCA, the Seven Network, and ARN, Jones is well-versed in industry dynamics.

In addition to her new role at Avid Collective, Jones also serves as the Director of Dragon Labour Hire, where she develops apps to enhance efficiency in engaging the casual workforce. Her appointment follows the recent launch of the Avid Platform 2.0 and the expansion of Avid Collective's leadership team, which includes Rob Ewing as Head of Agency Partnerships and Leah Stalker's expanded role as Head of Direct Advertising Partnerships.

"We are thrilled to add someone of Niki’s calibre to the Avid leadership team. Niki brings more than two decades of expert insights, along with a deep understanding of industry dynamics to Avid. She is passionate about innovation and using technology to drive growth - I am confident her enthusiasm, combined with her expertise, will make her an invaluable member of the Avid business," said Managing Director, Avid Collective, Luke Spano.

Jones said Avid Collective was a company with innovation at the heart of its operations.

"My past experience reflects a dedication to leveraging technology to streamline operations and drive success, and Avid provides the perfect environment to continue these activities. With a real passion for innovation, I constantly seek new technologies and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and I can’t think of a better place to do that, than at Avid. I look forward to contributing to the company’s commitment to excellence and driving innovation in the dynamic media landscape," she said.

Avid Collective works with over 100 publisher brands across Australia. Further internal promotions at Avid Collective are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
