Havas Group ANZ nabs WPP's Marco Villella for newly created talent role

Havas Group ANZ has appointed WPP's Marco Villella to the newly created role of Head of Talent, charged with overseeing the talent product and Havas’ people experience journey.

He brings over a decade of experience in talent acquisition and management, will be based in the Havas Village in Sydney, reporting to Chief People Officer, Candice Veasey.

Prior to joining Havas, Villella held positions at GroupM (WPP AUNZ) for over four years as Talent Acquisition Lead and at IPG Mediabrands and Hart Resources Group. His responsibilities included talent acquisition across GroupM’s agencies such as Essence, Mediacom, Mindshare, Nexus, and Wavemaker.

"Marco is an exceptional talent who brings with him a wealth of experience in his field. He is a great addition to our People Team, and I look forward to a successful journey together seeing all of his valuable contribution across the Havas Village," said Candice Veasey, Chief People Officer at Havas.

In his newly created role, Villella will He will also partner with Havas’ Leadership Team to support the people and talent strategy across the Havas Village and wider network, including Havas Media, Havas Play, Havas Host, Havas Red, Havas Blvd, Havas New Zealand, One Green Bean, Organic Pacific, H/Advisors APA, Bastion Brands, and Frontier.
