Freelancer marketplace, Fiverr, has released its 2024 Business Trends Index, revealing that in the last six months freelancers with advertising and digital marketing, eCommerce and dropshipping, and 3D printing and digital design skills have been in high demand by Australian businesses.

The Index analyses millions of searches across Fiverr's platform to predict key trends and areas where businesses have been seeking support over the past six months.

In Advertising and Digital Marketing, demand for Google Ads Campaigns has grown by 26%, Meta Ads Campaigns by 43%, and Monthly SEO Services by a staggering 549%.

In the eCommerce and Dropshipping sector, demand for Shopify Expert has grown by 34%, Shopify Marketing by 29%, and Dropshipping Setup by an impressive 290%. The 3D Printing and Digital Design sector has seen a surge in demand for 3D Printing Design by a massive 8,530% and 3D Rendering Architecture by 56%.

These trends suggest that businesses are seeking cost-effective, highly specialised solutions to address challenges such as reduced resources, rising costs, and the need to innovate quickly. The surge in demand for these services indicates that businesses are leveraging their skills not only to sustain but also to grow their income streams.
