Mindshare secures media duties for Foot Locker

Group M agency, Mindshare, has secured the media planning and buying duties for international footwear and apparel retailer, Foot Locker. This news, which was embargoed until 8 AM on Tuesday, November 19th, continues Mindshare's successful run of pitch wins over the past 18 months.

Mindshare will now be responsible for performance and campaign media planning and buying for Foot Locker across Australia and New Zealand. The agency will deliver strategic, data-led media planning, action, optimisation, and measurement.

A key task for Mindshare will be to support Foot Locker in its growth ambitions, specifically to diversify the retailer’s audience profile and grow customer value. Foot Locker operates close to 100 retail stores across Australia and New Zealand.

Foot Locker recently launched its new ‘Reimagined’ store concept in Melbourne Central, coinciding with its 50th anniversary as a brand and its announcement as Major Partner of the WNBL.

The Foot Locker win adds to Mindshare's recent business successes which include winning Unilever, Nova Entertainment and extending its contract with the University of Melbourne.
