QMS appoints Amelia Allan to lead South Australian expansion

QMS has established a South Australian sales function under the leadership of Amelia Allan, who joins the digital outdoor media company as Group Business Director for South Australia.

Allan joins QMS from Wavemaker Adelaide, where she served as Marketplace Associate Director for nearly two years. Prior to her stint at Wavemaker, Allan spent just under a decade in various sales roles at Southern Cross Austereo. Her appointment comes as QMS' relationship with sales representation company Medianest is set to conclude this month.

"Over the past decade, Tim Kennedy and the team at Medianest have done a terrific job of showcasing our portfolio of outstanding digital out of home assets to the South Australian market. QMS’ ongoing network growth has reinforced the need for a dedicated local presence in Adelaide, and we look forward to connecting with our clients to further drive innovative DOOH solutions. Our sincere thanks are also extended to everyone at Medianest for 10 great years of representation. I’m pleased to welcome Amelia to QMS in this important new role. She is very highly regarded, with strong media and agency experience. Her valuable market knowledge, passion for out of home and understanding of the entire media landscape will prove to be a valuable asset as we look to invest further into the South Australian market," saidQMS Chief Sales Officer, Tim Murphy.

In late 2023, QMS announced the addition of four new digital large format sites in Adelaide. The company's South Australian network now delivers more than 24 million impressions a week.

"With the growth and momentum QMS has as Australia’s leader and expert in DOOH, the opportunity to be a part of that story for the South Australian market was something I had to be a part of. The timing of QMS’ expansion in South Australia could not have come at a better time. With population growth and more advertisers looking to expand their local and national campaigns, I’m excited to lead the QMS team here through this next phase of growth for the business," said Allan.

Allan will commence her role at QMS on 29 July 2024.
