Icon Agency bolsters Sydney team with senior creatives

Icon Agency has announced the appointment of senior creatives Kenneth E. Parrish III and Gareth Fitzpatrick to lead a new creative offering in Sydney.

The move comes as part of the agency's commitment to inter-disciplinary problem-solving, creativity, and effectiveness, and is set to bolster their growing technology and government client portfolio.

Parrish, with over 15 years of experience in brand building, visual design, and fine art, has previously held roles at DDB New York, working on Hasbro and Topps Candy, and has been instrumental in creative campaigns for Subaru, Qantas, Visa, and ANZ.

Fitzpatrick, on the other hand, brings to the table experience from across creative agencies and in-house teams in London, Melbourne, and Sydney, with a portfolio that includes Pepsi, AMEX, Tennis Australia, and Commbank.

"Bringing Ken and Gareth into the team in Sydney continues the exciting period of growth and change we’re experiencing. It’s great to have them both here and I’m looking forward to working with them and seeing what they’ll bring to our culture and work," said Executive Creative Director, Icon Agency, Michael Knox.

The duo will work across Icon’s growing technology and government client portfolio, which includes Meta, Salesforce, DFAT, and the Department of Home Affairs.

"The addition of Kenneth and Gareth to our team embodies Icon’s outcome-first thinking. We are excited for this next chapter at Icon," added Group Managing Director, Icon Agency, Joanne Painter.

Icon Agency has experienced significant growth in NSW, expanding from a team of 3 to almost 30 members in three years, prompting a move to new headquarters in Surry Hills.
