Databricks and Shutterstock have partnered to launch Shutterstock ImageAI, a text-to-image Generative AI model optimised for enterprise use.

The joint venture was announced at Databricks’ annual Data and AI Summit in San Francisco.

Shutterstock ImageAI is powered by and built on Databricks Mosaic AI. The model enables organisations to generate high-fidelity, trusted images that are tailored to specific business needs. The ImageAI was trained exclusively on Shutterstock’s world-class image repository. The model addresses the challenges of generating high-quality images for collateral, websites, applications, or campaigns.

Databricks customers can serve ImageAI with Mosaic AI Model Serving to easily integrate the model with their existing enterprise-wide data governance policies. Shutterstock ImageAI, powered by Databricks, is available today in private preview on Databricks Mosaic AI Model Serving and live on Shutterstock.com/ai-image-generator.
