Market research veteran Marc Ryan joins YouGov as chief product officer

Marc Ryan, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the market research industry, has been appointed as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) of YouGov, an international online research data and analytics technology group.

Ryan will be leading YouGov’s suite of audience intelligence, brand tracking and behavioural products, with an initial focus on the company's data products.

His role will involve overseeing YouGov’s product strategy with a focus on customer-centric innovation. He will be setting the long-term product vision across the entire product ecosystem, including cross-product convergence.

Ryan brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as Chief Product Officer at SCUBA Analytics and held dual roles as Chief Data Officer and Chief Product and Technology Officer at Kantar. He also held senior positions at Nielsen.

Ryan will join YouGov on 3 September 2024 and will report directly to YouGov CEO Steve Hatch.
