Ogilvy Melbourne appoints Chris Andrews as group creative director

Multi-award-winning creative Chris Andrews has joined Ogilvy Melbourne in the role of Group Creative Director.

Andrews, who has previously worked at Special and has been recognised at major shows including Cannes, Oneshow, D&AD, Spikes, and AWARD, brings a wealth of experience to the team. His career has seen him work at several major Melbourne creative shops, including CHE Proximity, DDB, BMF, and the former JWT.

Ogilvy Melbourne's ECD, Hilary Badger, was upbeat about Andrews joining the team, stating his approach aligns with the high ambitions of their clients.

"Chris comes with an impeccable track record of great ideas across many categories in Melbourne’s best agencies," said Badger. Andrews' appointment follows a series of recent creative hires at Ogilvy Melbourne, including Ant Simmons who joined as GCD in October. Over the past year, Ogilvy's creative ranks have expanded with appointments such as Clark Edwards as joint Sydney ECD with Bridget Jung, the promotion of Miriam Wells to Chief Creative Officer Ogilvy PR, and Nina East to Group Creative Director of Ogilvy Health.
