Kidspot.com.au launches 'Mum Club' podcast as safe space for parents

Australia's leading parenting site, Kidspot.com.au, has launched a new podcast titled 'Mum Club', hosted by Kidspot editor Emily Blatchford and lifestyle editor Leah Goulis.

The program's aim is to provide a judgement-free zone for parents. The podcast will feature regular segments including 'ask an expert', 'health check', 'budget buys', 'life hacks', and 'what's trending'.

"One of the things I love most about my job is being involved in such a strong online community of mums, so I am beyond excited to take that to the next level with the launch of Mum Club," said Blatchford.

The podcast will be released on Wednesdays and Fridays and will be supported by editorial across Kidspot.com.au and amplified through newsletters, videos, social posts and other podcasts in NewsCast’s slate. According to Ipsos iris rankings for January 2024, Kidspot.com.au has an audience of 2.3 million.

"This podcast is like an online mums group for your ears. The best part is that you can directly interact with the podcast with your questions or comments without leaving the house," said Fountain.

'Mum Club' is available through Kidspot.com.au, Spotify and Apple Podcasts and is produced by NewsCast, News Corp Australia's on-demand audio arm.
