Pizza Hut dives under the sea with Spongebob Squarepants-inspired menu
Pizza Hut has partnered with Paramount Consumer Products for the third year to unveil a SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired menu across its 286 restaurants in Australia.
The launch campaign for the new menu was handled by WiredCo, which managed the strategy, creative, PR, social and media for the new partnership.
The new menu includes a world-first Dill Pickle Mustard Swirl & Bacon Bits Ice Cream, inspired by SpongeBob’s bestie, Patrick. Other items on the new menu include SpongeBob Pizza, SpongeBob Sweet Chilli Wings, Pineapple Sunrise Ice Cream, and Fanta Pineapple No Sugar. The SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired range is available both as individual menu items and as a bundle via Pizza Hut’s signature 3+3 offer.
Pizza Hut Australia Director of Marketing & Digital, Simon Stocks, said: “We are delighted to partner with the folks at Paramount Consumer Products again, and in our third year of partnership with them, we think we’ve created the best menu items yet.” He added, “Above all else, the new menu items are designed to create good times with loved ones, whether that be out and about with your mates, or at home with your family. The secret tasty test we did last week has given us a lot of confidence our new range will be very well received by Australians."
