Yahoo Academy invites future industry leaders to apply for 2024 program
Yahoo Academy is now accepting nominations for its 2024 talent-building program, aimed at fostering the skills of rising media and marketing professionals in Australia and Singapore.
The immersive two-day program is set to take place in Sydney and will feature in-depth workshops led by industry-leading experts.
The program's focus is on developing skills crucial for future workplaces. Workshop topics will cover practical implementation of AI, strategic and critical thinking, business problem-solving, and other areas vital to the evolving world of work.
Participants will have the opportunity to solve a real business problem for Australian charity MMAD in the 'Pitch Off' challenge. The winning team of the 'Pitch Off' challenge will be rewarded with a trip to a top marketing conference in June, including flights, four nights’ accommodation, and conference tickets.
"Yahoo Academy is more than just a learning program; it's a launchpad for the next generation of media leaders. Over more than a decade many of today’s industry leaders have been through our Academy experience, benefitting from real insights from the brightest and best practitioners in our industry," said Yahoo AUSEA Managing Director, John McNerney. "With the whole world of work evolving at breakneck speed it’s more vital than ever to ensure we’re equipping the next generation of leaders with the tools they will need to make a real difference in their careers. I’m excited to see how this experience will help to elevate this year’s group with an incredible program locked in."
Nominations are open for professionals in Australia and Singapore with 1-7 years of experience. The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 22, and nominees must be available to attend the workshop in Sydney on May 14 and 15.
