Global experience design company, Imagination, has promoted Alistair Wilson from Managing Director Melbourne to Managing Director Australia.

In his new role, Wilson (pictured) will be tasked with driving growth initiatives across Australia and delivering strategically valuable work for leading clients such as ANZ, AWS, Commonwealth Bank, Macquarie Bank, Telstra, and Workday.

Wilson will also spearhead efforts to expand Imagination's client portfolio across their core offerings, which include Consulting, Destinations, Content, and Live Experiences. Wilson brings over 25 years of experience with Imagination to his new role, having held leadership positions in the UK, Hong Kong, China, Australia, and the US. He played a key role in establishing Imagination Australia in 2006 and joined the Australian leadership team in 2010.

Wilson succeeds Antony Gowthorp as Managing Director, who is leaving Imagination after nearly 12 years to seek new opportunities. During Gowthorp's tenure, Imagination accelerated its growth and delivered a series of high-profile public events, as well as building key long-term client relationships.
