IAB Australia locks in inaugural invite-only Leadership Summit for November
IAB Australia is set to host the inaugural Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Australia Leadership Summit in Sydney on 20th November 2024. The event, which is by invitation only, will see some of the most senior leaders in the advertising and marketing industry convene to discuss key industry topics.
The keynote speakers for the event include Daniel Knapp, IAB Europe's Chief Economist, and Anthony Katsur, CEO of IAB Tech Lab. The Summit will cover a range of topics including the economics of the media and advertising industry, data governance and privacy, the regulatory landscape, the development of standards and tools for a responsible and effective industry, changes to media and marketing workforces, the evolution of creative optimisation, and the impact of Artificial Intelligence.
"The IAB Australia Board is excited to host senior leaders in the industry and we encourage them to take time to participate in the big discussions needed in market, while being inspired and informed by an incredible line-up on international and local speakers," said IAB Australia Board Chair and Carsales Commercial Director – Media, Vanya Mariani.

The Leadership Summit will be held at the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre in Surry Hills. Over 400 decision makers from agencies, advertisers, publishers, platforms, ad tech companies, academics, government and regulatory representatives are expected to attend.
IAB Australia is an independent industry association with more than 170 members in Australia and nearly 9,000 globally, spanning media owners, publishers, technology companies, agencies, and advertisers.
