Maybelline, HERO land top prize at 2023 AiMCO Awards
The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) unveiled the winners of the 2023 AiMCO Awards, with Maybelline New York and HERO taking out the top brand influence prize for the 'Through Their Eyes' campaign.
The campaign, which also won the best entertainment/gaming campaign, addressed the online abuse faced by female gamers and gained global recognition with 449.9M impressions, earned media reach of 276.5M, and a cumulative reach of 65.2M gamers.
Sponsored by TikTok for Business, the awards night took place at Sydney's Daltone House on Thursday, hosted by Australian creators Alright Hey and Starr McGowan. Across a suite of awards, AiMCO recognised the brands, creators, agencies, and businesses driving Australia's influencer marketing industry.
Comedy duo Lachlan and Austin Macfarlane, known as The Macfarlane Brothers, were recognised as the most influential creators and won the award for best comedy and entertainment creator for the year. The brothers have previously earned a spot in the TikTok x Cannes Young Lions competition in 2022.
Emma Woods from Social Soup was recognised as the AiMCO trailblazer of the year. This award is a testament to her significant contributions to the influencer marketing industry.
The 2023 AiMCO Awards were supported by TikTok for Business, Wavemaker, Kittly business, Hello Social, Meltwater, Social Soup, Talentpay Australia, and Tagger by Sprout Social.
