iHeart boasts top spot as Australia's leading podcast publisher

iHeart, owned by ARN, has maintained its position as Australia's leading podcast publisher for the 44th consecutive ranker. In 2023, iHeart achieved the highest engagement of any network, with over 20 million downloads. Audioboom's 'Casefile' was the top podcast overall and the leading True Crime Podcast for the year.

Four of iHeart's podcasts secured positions in the top 10: 'The Imperfects' (#5 overall, #1 health & wellness), 'Life Uncut with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne' (#7 overall, #1 relationship), and 'Stuff You Should Know' (#8 overall, #1 knowledge). Other notable podcasts include 'On Purpose with Jay Shetty' (#2 Health & Wellness and #20 overall), Audioboom’s 'No Such Thing As A Fish' (#26), and 'She’s On The Money' (#28, #1 Finance). The data is based on the Australian Podcast Ranker, Triton Digital, December 2023 results.

"2023 was an exceptional year for iHeart, our team and incredible partners. In 2024 we'll be delivering much more as Australian listeners and brands continue to lean into the world of podcasts," said Corey Layton, ARN’s Head of Digital Audio.
