AANA appoints Mehra Jehangir as new director for member engagement
The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) has announced the appointment of Mehra Jehangir as its new Director, Member Engagement & Events.
Jehangir, who brings a wealth of experience in client management and business development, is set to implement a growth plan and increase member engagement at AANA.
CEO of AANA, Josh Faulks, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointment.
"We are excited to welcome Mehra to the team as we focus on delivering value to our members and growing our community to ensure we are truly representative of the industry," he said.
"I’m excited to bring my experience and passion to strengthen and grow AANA’s reach and deliver an extraordinary member experience. I can’t wait to be part of the AANA community, connect with our members, and make a big positive contribution to our industry," Jehangir said.
Prior to her appointment at AANA, Jehangir served as Vice President, Business Development at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), where she managed clients from various industries including FMCG, retail, and technology. She also held the position of Regional Director at GlobalData Plc’s Sydney office, managing a portfolio of clients from FMCG, retail, packaging and other industries within ANZ and APAC.
Jehangir's passion for brands, their go-to-market strategies, marketing and business development is expected to be a significant asset to AANA as it seeks to enhance its member engagement and expand its reach within the industry.
This appointment comes at a crucial time for AANA, as it aims to grow its community and ensure it is truly representative of the industry.
