M&C Saatchi nabs TBWA's Tanya Vragalis for Managing Director role

M&C Saatchi has appointed Tanya Vragalis as its new Managing Director, marking her return to the agency after a six year stint at TBWA Australia.

Vragalis was previously spent two years at M&C Saatchi, and will now join the Executive Leadership Team with a focus on leading M&C’s client delivery model with Woolworths Group's Greenhouse Collective.

During her time at TBWA, Vragalis gained experience in telco, tourism, financial services, and retail sectors, leading successful high-profile campaigns, such as the launch of Amazon in the Australian market. She has also previously held roles at Leo Burnett, George Patterson Y&R, and Lavender.

"We've built a fantastic working model with the Woolworths Group that's currently evolving, and we're taking on the challenge of expanding our capabilities in digital and data-first brand experiences. Tanya is an integral part of this plan. She brings a passion for innovation and a strategic mindset to the ever-evolving creative landscape," said CEO of M&C Saatchi APAC, Justin Graham.

"I’m thrilled to be (re)joining M&C Saatchi Group in this exciting new era. There’s significant momentum and transformation in progress so it’s a great time to join. I’m particularly excited to collaborate with Steve Coll, our clients & the talented team that form part of the Greenhouse Collective to help drive growth for the Woolworths Group," Vragalis.

M&C Saatchi Group is a creative company that operates across four core capabilities: creativity and communications, PR and partnerships, brand and experience, and media and commerce. The group has operations spanning 23 countries with major hubs in the UK, Europe, US, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia.
