Hubspot unveils AI Search Grader, a free tool to optimise brands for AI search
HubSpot has introduced AI Search Grader, a free tool designed to assist brands in optimising for AI search. This tool, the first of its kind, aims to help brands understand their presence in large language models (LLM) and AI search. The emergence of generative AI has significantly transformed traditional SEO, with the use of AI chatbots to answer questions increasing by 37% and search engines decreasing by 11%.
AI Search Grader analyses brand awareness and sentiment across AI chatbots. The tool comprises four key components: an overall grade, a brand sentiment score, a share of voice score, and a personalised analysis. AI Search Grader is available globally in English and is free for any marketer to use.
This launch follows HubSpot's previous introduction of Website Grader, a tool that helped marketers optimise for search engines. The shift towards AI search is a significant trend in the marketing industry, and tools like AI Search Grader are becoming increasingly important for brands to stay competitive.
Nicholas Holland, VP of Product and GM of Marketing Hub at HubSpot, commented on the changing landscape of customer attraction. “What marketers have been doing for years to attract customers won’t be as effective in the future. People just aren’t using traditional search like they used to,” he said. Holland emphasised the importance of adapting to the rise of AI search, stating, “As the tides are turning toward AI search, we want to help marketers stand out and get discovered in this new environment. That’s exactly what AI Search Grader will give marketers – a new, free way to connect with their customers in the AI era.”
